ES Moss are delighted to announce the completion of two new clinical treatment rooms at the world leading National Spinal Injuries Centre at Stoke Mandeville Hospital. This state of the art facility, the concept of which was inspired by the writings of the actor Christopher Reeve, is one of the first of its kind in the UK and is intended to treat and assist patients with extensive spinal injuries. Former office suites have been transformed to create this stunning healing environment and will go live later this summer. The works included new mechanical ventilation and air conditioning services, new electrical and data systems, hygienic wall cladding and flooring, new bespoke medical furniture and joinery, IPS wall panels and wash hand basins, fire rated partitions and ceilings, audio visual equipment built within acoustic ceiling panels, window blinds, automated door-sets and access control systems. The project was undertaken in a live hospital environment where every stage had to be carefully coordinated to minimise disruption to the priority healthcare services. ES Moss have also been engaged for several more vital projects at Stoke Mandeville. For further information please browse our Health related Case Studies section.
