ES Moss have recently completed a large scale project to refurbish a critical section of the A&E Department at Stoke Mandeville Hospital. Works involved a comprehensive strip out of existing areas and the formation of three new Covid resilient Triage Bays, a new accessible WC, a Patient Liaison Room, IT Room, Security Office and a new Information Desk/Office. Works included completely new M&E Services, hygienic doorsets, partitions, flooring, wall finishes, fire rated and suspended ceilings, IPS Units, medical gases, fire, nurse call, data and security alarms, roller shutters and custom made furniture, desks and medical cabinets. The project was part of a phased renovation of the A&E facilities. ES Moss and the project management team faced many challenges and overcame difficult issues to ensure no critical services within the live areas of the A&E were ever affected during the course of the project.
