New Project Award - St Rafael's RC Church, Hayes
ES Moss will be replacing over 350sqm of copper roof coverings and forming new concealed gutters at St Rafael’s RC Church in Hayes, on behalf of the Diocese of Westminster.

We are pleased to have added three further projects in the Educational Sector to our order book for the summer holiday programme, which promises to be another busy one. We will be undertaking refurbishment and renovation works to Bursary and Prep School areas at Berkhamsted School and installing new emergency lighting at St Marks Catholic School in Hounslow.
The summer holidays always present a challenge for our team and supply chain given the compressed nature of works, however ES Moss have consistently demonstrated our ability to navigate the complexities of the period and deliver on behalf of our clients

This week we commenced a refurbishing project on a retail unit for a new client in Watford. The work comprises of the stripping out of existing partitions and toilets and the installation of new fire line ceilings and windows.
We anticipate the work will be complete in 3 weeks to enable the Landlord to give occupation to a new Tenant.

Phase 2, comprising of the refurbishment of toilets in the 1st and ground floor in the Main block, was completed just before the Christmas and New Year holiday.
Working in “live” environments always presents challenges. However these were overcome by us working closely with the school, timing deliveries and noisy works, keeping disruption to a minimum. Hard work paid off with the facilities being complete and ready for the school to use on their return after Christmas.

ES Moss will be supplying and installing over 30 new doors and screens at St Ignatius School in Tottenham as part of a fire upgrade programme.
The works will be completed across a two week window over the Christmas holiday period. We are delighted to continue our strong relationship with the School and consultant, both of whom we worked with on a WC refurbishment programme at the School last year.

Further to completing the installation of over 30 new internal fire doorsets at Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School in Hertfordshire during the summer holidays, ES Moss are pleased to advise the 2nd Phase of the project will be carried out during the October half-term which will be the replacement of over 20 external timber doorsets with new powder coated aluminium doors.

Phase 2 of the refurbishment is underway, focusing on upgrading four student toilet blocks with new sanitary ware, lighting, hand dryers, flooring, and IPS wall and cubicle systems.
Scheduled for completion by the end of 2024, these enhancements are set to make a big difference for the students.

Falconer School – Conversion and Refurbishment Project

Following the successful completion of Phase 1 at Millbank Academy, Pimlico, we're excited to announce that Phase 2 will begin during the October half-term.
This phase involves the complete refurbishment of four student toilet blocks, featuring new sanitary ware, lighting, hand dryers, flooring, and IPS cubicle systems. The project is set to be completed by the end of 2024.

ES Moss successfully completed an extremely short notice refurbishment at Falconer School, Bushey. With only 2 weeks' notice, the project involved converting a caretaker’s house into a Reception and Admin Office and transforming the former Reception and Staffroom into two new Year 7 classrooms.
Works included electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and data installations, along with redecorations, plastering, acoustic wall linings, flooring, and more. The school and Trust were grateful for the timely delivery, ensuring the new spaces were ready for the new term.

ES Moss is delighted to announce that the new English Block at Queens' School in Watford has officially opened in time for the start of the 2024/25 academic year, as scheduled.
This £1 million+ project includes four state-of-the-art classrooms, a new office, toilets, a storeroom, and extensive external soft and hard landscaping.
All areas are air-conditioned, with modular ceilings and LED lighting. Feedback from the school and their surveyors has been overwhelmingly positive, and we look forward to the official opening ceremony soon!

ES Moss is pleased to report that progress on our summer school works programme is going exceptionally well. We have completed the first phase of a £750k project at Millbank Academy and are well into the second phase, scheduled for completion by September 2nd.
The works include new flooring, decorating, lighting, doorsets, and full toilet block refurbishments in the main Reception and Early Years teaching block.

We are delighted to announce the award of a major refurbishment project at Millbank Academy in Victoria. The work is set to begin in early July and will encompass all four school buildings during the summer recess and beyond, following a phased programme.
This project aims to accommodate additional pupils by creating new teaching spaces, upgrading existing lighting, flooring, and decorations, refurbishing the Main Reception, and revamping numerous pupil toilet blocks throughout the school. Stay tuned for updates as the work progresses. .

ES Moss are constantly providing training for our team; last week several of our site operatives have undergone PASMA training through HSS which gives them industry accredited certification for the erection and dismantling of mobile towers.
As members of both Constructionline and Safecontractor ES Moss are constantly striving to improve our safety procedures and maintain our excellent safety record. Further courses are planned for Asbestos Awareness Training, First Aid, Fire Marshalls and Working at Height in the next 3 months.

We have recently received great feedback from our client at the prestigious Berkhamsted Independent School in Hertfordshire, following the conversion of a staff room to a state-of-the-art Food Tech teaching room.
The head of project management at the school messaged us to say “I have been sent the photos of the Food Tech classroom; I thought you would like them as well. Thank you for a super job. The pupils and staff are enjoying using the space.”

We have successfully handed over the first 2 refurbished ensuite bathrooms at Gainsford House in a phased sequence, upgrading 12 ensuites and a bathroom in an occupied Healthcare establishment.
This rolling programme allows the facility in Hitchin to function while we undertake important upgrade works, minimising operational disruption to the service users. The project is due to complete late spring 2024.

We have handed over a recently refurbished healthcare facility in Stevenage. The works comprised of 27 en-suite bathroom upgrades, replacement flooring, complete re-decoration, replacement kitchens and significant electrical upgrade works. A big well done to our own team and our supply chain for crossing the line.

We have now completed the beam and block flooring and taken delivery of materials ready to commence the brickwork and blockwork next week. This project to build a single storey English block to provide much needed additional teaching space, at this hugely successful school, should be completed in the summer.

ES Moss are pleased to announce the complete renewal of a 1000 square metre multi purpose sports hall floor at St Michael’s Catholic High School in Watford. The works were carried out in the summer holidays and included the removal of the existing flooring, a new undercarriage system, new sports vinyl and court line marking.
